Here for a good time.
Tune
in!
Alfred’s began as the restaurant we kept dreaming about - fun, flavour-packed, unpretentious, and full of good vibes. So instead of waiting for it to magically appear in Revelstoke, we teamed up and built it ourselves. Our pop-up at Spilt Milk got a little too popular (in the best way), and suddenly Alfred’s needed its own home.
Now here we are: serving Italian(ish) comfort, great wine, playful cocktails, and the kind of hospitality we’d want to experience on our own night off.
Thanks for pulling up a chair, grabbing a drink, and making Alfred’s what it is.
— Lauren, John & Ivan, Co-owners, Alfred’s
Alfred’s is named in honour of Lauren’s grandfather, Alfred or “Alfio” to many in the Little Italy community of Ingham, Far North Queensland, Australia. A lifelong cane farmer and a passionate tinkerer, he built one of Australia’s first mechanical cane harvesters, pairing hard work with creativity and innovation.
The radio in Alfred’s shed became another lasting memory. It played the same station for decades, so constantly that it was the first thing you’d hear when arriving at the house. After he passed, the family chose to keep it playing — and it still is today. The radio in our logo honours that gentle, enduring presence and the spirit of ingenuity and warmth that inspires Alfred’s.
“10 outta 10 food. Vibes, high. Drinks, on point. Better believe we’ll be back.”
