Welcome to Alfred's. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, www.alfreds.ca (the "Site"), and services we offer through it, including reservations, gift cards, and event inquiries. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
Alfred's is located at 302 1 St W, Revelstoke, British Columbia ("Alfred's," "we," "us," or "our").
1. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful, personal purposes only. You agree not to misuse the Site, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems, or use automated tools to scrape or copy Site content without our permission.
2. Reservations
Reservations are made through third-party platforms: OpenTable for future-day bookings and the DINR app for same-day and exclusive bookings. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies.
By making a reservation, you agree to:
Provide accurate contact information
Arrive on time — tables may be released after a [15]-minute grace period
Cancel or modify your booking as early as possible if your plans change
We reserve the right to decline or cancel reservations at our discretion, including in cases of suspected misuse of the booking system.
3. Gift Cards
Gift cards are sold and processed through Square. In accordance with British Columbia law, Alfred's gift cards do not expire and are not subject to inactivity fees. Gift cards are redeemable for food and beverages at Alfred's, are not redeemable for cash except where required by law, and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Purchases of gift cards are subject to Square's terms of service.
4. Menus, Pricing, and Availability
Menus, prices, and hours of operation shown on the Site are subject to change without notice. While we do our best to keep the Site current, the menu available in the restaurant may differ from what is posted online. Menu items are subject to availability.
5. Allergies and Dietary Restrictions
We take allergies seriously, but our kitchen handles common allergens including wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, shellfish, and others. While we take reasonable precautions when informed of an allergy, we cannot guarantee that any menu item is completely free of allergens due to the risk of cross-contamination. Guests with severe allergies dine at their own risk and should inform their server of any allergies before ordering.
6. Events and Private Bookings
Inquiries about events or private bookings made through the Site do not constitute a confirmed booking. Event bookings are confirmed only when agreed to in writing by Alfred's, and may be subject to separate terms, deposits, and minimum spend requirements.
7. Conduct at the Restaurant
We're here for good times only. We reserve the right to refuse service or ask any guest to leave for behaviour that is abusive, unsafe, or disruptive to other guests or staff, in accordance with applicable law. Service of alcohol is subject to British Columbia liquor laws, including proof-of-age requirements.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, photography, graphics, logos, and the Alfred's name and branding — is owned by or licensed to Alfred's and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any Site content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site links to third-party websites and services, including OpenTable, DINR, Square, Instagram, and Facebook. These are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of third-party services.
10. Disclaimer
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." While we work to keep information accurate and the Site running smoothly, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Site or its content.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alfred's and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including under the British Columbia Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act.
12. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our [Privacy Policy], which explains how we collect and use personal information.
13. Changes to These Terms
